YTCA is responsible for developing leading edge technologies and products to support current business and create new business opportunities for Yazaki group companies worldwide. Our company vision is to develop advanced technology to make human life comfortable and safer for current and future generations.

YTCA's objectives are to:

  • Support Yazaki group companies worldwide in technology creation, product development, analytical service, and technology consulting.
  • Establish core technology platforms for new products and business opportunities and develop a diverse portfolio of core competencies in materials science and technology.
  • Collect, analyze, and share information concerning technology development activities, and keep staff members of Yazaki Corporation fully informed about leading edge technological innovations.

YTCA operates in a state-of-the-art 75,000 sq. ft. research facility with outstanding equipment and analytical tools. We take pride in our professional staff, which is comprised of high caliber scientists, engineers, and technicians.
