Mr. Shinya Sean Oda
President and CEO
Sean joined Yazaki Corporation in 1990. During his career with Yazaki he has been engaged in technical and engineering activities in a wide range of fields, including development and production of automotive wire harnesses, development of manufacturing specifications for automotive electronic components, and advancement of the Yazaki product portfolio while interacting with automotive OEMs. In his various roles within the organization, he has overseen advanced technology development of Global Yazaki and planning activities for next-generation technology and products.
In October 2022, Sean was appointed President and CEO of YTC America Inc., succeeding Mr. S. Ray Chaudhuri, a founding member of the company. As President and CEO, Sean is now responsible for management and direction of all YTCA company operations, and for the development and deployment of YTCA’s new technologies both within global Yazaki and through external collaborations.
Sean holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Tokyo Polytechnic University. He also holds a certificate in Global Leadership from International Institute for Management Development.
